If you haven't, I highly recommend him. For those not in the know, he was a prolific Western author in the 20th century, having authored several books up until his death in 1954. He seems to be largely forgotten now for some reason, but all of his pre-1923 works can be found on sites like Project Gutenberg. I haven't read all of his books, but the ones I have read were gripping tales, but also kinda flowery and racist at times.
