Here is my dilemma:

As part of my own editorial process using the KDP platform, I do proofing runs by emailing the latest downloaded MOBI to my Kindle device (Kindle IOS app). The problem I have, is that there is no apparent way to delete them. I can remove them from my device, except they are still in the cloud. The ones in the cloud I cannot delete using my device app.

In theory, I should be able to log in to my Amazon account, access content and devices, and delete them there, right? Except they don't appear there. Other ebooks appear there, but not the ones I had emailed to my device.

Any ideas?

Not where you last saw me.
Sign on to your online Amazon account. Select "Manage Your Content and Devices". When your Kindle content displays, look to the left above the list. You'll see two drop-down boxes: "Books" and "All". Click on on the "Books" drop-down box and make your selection from the types of content listed (Books, Newspapers, Magazines, Blogs, etc.). Select "Docs" to display any MOBI content you sent to your Kindle.

ETA:
Note: Any MS-Word content you sent to your Kindle such as short stories, beta reads, or your own WIP will also be under "Docs".
