The part of Kansas that doesn't look like the part
One of the characters in my fantasy WIP is called the Red Wall by his enemies: "he was an impassable wall, stained red with the blood of the warriors who dashed themselves against him."

Is this name too reminiscence of the Redwall books by Brian Jacques? Or am I--as I often do--over thinking this?

Don't see why it would be, wouldn't matter if it was. Now if Red Wall was an abbey filled with rodents throwing out PG-13 language, I'd worry.

I'm with Kjbartolotta. There's always a chance that popular words and combination of words have been used once somewhere. You sound like you're mindful of that, you've considered it, and so long as you're not blatantly copying something verbatim I think you're in good shape.

I don't see the problem (unless, as Kjbartolotta said, this warrior is an anthro rodent defending an abbey), though if it bothers you maybe switch up the words a bit ("crimson" or "bloody", etc.)

No, not a problem.

ETA: I think it's the "the" that makes it stand out.
