Promoting my book...

Best method to promote my Kindle eBook? I am using Kindle ad methods but not much happening (no clicks, no sales). Had a couple of reads (literally) and a couple of good reviews (yippeee!).

Would love to know of promotion methods that work. I don't mind paying. Would like my book to be seen.

I've used Facebook ads. My experience has been mixed - I've sold more books, but not recouped my budget. Not a disaster, and it's been pleasing to receive some good reviews, but I'd be interested to hear if other writers have had a better experience with FB - and any tips

I used Amazon advertising. I got some sales, but only under the "space opera" genre keyword. I got virtually no clicks using comparative products. I also price it at $0.99 and have a clever tagline (the same in my sig, incidentally), so that probably helped.

I spent far more than I earned, but every business starts off in the red, I suppose.
