Came across a news article that mentioned that HK's biggest book distibutor (SUP) is moving it's main warehouse from HK to China. This may not seem like a huge thing, but the impact is enormous: HK is a free market: anything goes here, and books are free to contain any content the authors want. However moving across the border to China means that these books will be subject to anything the Chinese Government deem unpublishable or not for the reading market. It also means that the books will have to go through customs twice: Written and vetted in HK, then through the border to the warehouse, then back through the border for distribution to HK.
Essentially, SUP moving their main warehouse to the Chinese Mainland means censorship. HK isn't happy:
