Well, all in all, I managed 13k last month, although quite a lot of that was on stuff not related to the novel. BUT I'm pretty happy with that total.

How did you do last month? Do you have a target for this month? Or would you just like to hang out with us? We promise we're good people. We can help you hide the bodies...

13k is amazing, OSG!!!

I did not declare any goals for March, probably for the very first time since joining this thread. But hey, surgery.

So I'm walking and loving every second of it.

I will declare my goals before I wander off again:

~Revise/edit/submit short story
~Camp (10k goal)
~I need to figure out a project, gah
~Oubliette words?
~April newsletter

Saiorse - How's the healing coming along?

Last month went pretty well. I forget my word count - no time, to busy looking ahead

- but it was around 4K.
We'll, see what this month brings. So far I'm a little over 3K.

I STILL am undecided on a Camp project. I have several books I could write. But my muse is fickle. One day it's one, another day it's the other. Why can't she make a decision and stick to it? :gaah

Thanks, Zan - you're doing well.

Saoirse - will any of the ideas "go off" if you leave them too long (like old milk)? Prioritise them! The fresh stuff can usually wait, but then, sometimes old ideas are old because you're not that invested in them. It's tough deciding!

I've lost some of my momentum - coming up to the end of term and I have a load of assignments to do. Clocked a couple of thousand words on those last week, but very little on the novel, which is annoying. Hopefully I can get them all done and get back to the story. There's a big couple of chapters coming up that I've been really looking forward to...

OSG - Actually, a few already have gone off. I did make a decision so yay!

Yeah. So I wrote 661 words on Reaper Girl #3, The Vanishing. Struggling to get words today, though.

And I got a new client last week + 2 editing jobs so I've been super busy.

I wrote 2,000 words on my thriller over Easter weekend. Hoping to hit 18,000 (so 4,000 in the next 7 days) between now and the end of April, though ideally I'd like a few more.

Good work, dansimmonds! I managed nothing over Easter other than eating chocolate and watching the snooker. And good going, Zan and Saoirse!

I whipped myself back into the chair today though and clocked 1,052 words. Hoping for a little more tomorrow.
