For the longest time, I held the stigma that self-publishing (specifically on Amazon's KDP, to be clear) was a lower-class of publishing, that since anyone could do it, I could do it better. (Can ya'll hear me on that high horse???)
A good writing-friend of mine self-published through KDP, and she's already seeing success. She was my epiphany. So yesterday, I did it. I published my novel and I am so excited to have it live, available to be read!
Sure, no one knows it even exists yet, but I did this.
I totally did this!
I'm a published author now, and I'm already planning to get my rear in gear for the sequel.
Thanks, to everyone at AW, who has given me little tidbits of encouragement, I've eaten them up like they were cupcakes.
Love you guys!
