Murry pivoted around, his eyes blazing. “No!” He sighed. “I’m sorry. It’s just…I’m a very weak necromancer. I can only bring fossils and ashes back. Besides, no one likes necromancers. When my neighbors found out they started egging my house and letting their dogs use the bathroom in my front lawn.”
“Well, I have the five basic senses: touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing. Then I have those senses again but heightened. Then I have a…heightened physic sense.”
“Oh come on. Maisy’s tough.” Billie strode to the training dummy. “Plus, these things can’t hurt anyone. They’re basically clouds. Watch.” Billie swung his fist at the dummy’s face.
“Oh for crying out loud,” Crumb shouted. “Yes. You’re scared of me. Who isn’t? In fact, It makes me feel powerful and I like feeling powerful, but you don’t have to be rude about it.”
