I'd like to report a disappearance... our monthly thread walked out at the end of February and I've not seen them since!

I'm guessing things have been tough for everyone. That's okay. We can pull together here and give each other the gee up we need.

Have a strong month, people. :box:

I clocked in 500 words on the dot today. I'm not saying I edited my last line to make sure it was exactly 500 words, but I'm not not saying that.

I’ve just started writing my first mystery novel, and the 500 word per day challenge is pushing me forward, even if I’m not keeping completely up...

:waves to OSG & Heather:

I've had my surgery and I'm recovering. It's been tough with this non-weight bearing stuff, but I am managing. I've started working a bit. I'm no longer on painkillers as they have done nothing for me, so my mind is clear. Not even thinking about writing right now. :(

Take it as slow as you need, Saoirse. I'm glad to see you here anyway :)

:hi: Heather! Hope you have a productive March.

I did 537 words yesterday on a kind of flash piece. It ended up all being screenshots of text messages, so I had to do my word count manually... good lord, what a pain.

Hey everyone, how you all doing?

Saoirse - best wishes for a quick recovery.
OSG - I see you're still blazing a path, keep it up.
Heather - Nice to meet you, every word gets you a bit closer to the end, you'll do great.

I'm not sure where February went and I'm less sure how we got halfway through March already. I've added somewhere between 2k and 2.5k words in the last few weeks.

A good day yesterday, 1595 words, but I'm overall a little behind so still pushing to catch up. Hope everyone is still swimming along...

Still alive. Itchy from an allergic reaction to my soft cast (which is now off thank God) and working. No writing yet, but I'm getting the urge again. :D

You could probably compare my daily word count to rolling hills. Not where I want it to be, but I'm still moving forward so I'll take that as a win.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

A slow morning, but I managed to pull it together this afternoon and ended up with 1,414 words. I'm happy with that.

Did a quick word tally for the month. So far I'm just over 3k new words which was a pleasant surprise actually.

:cheers all progress:

I'm at the halfway point of my recovery. I want to write, but I've been slammed with work. I will get to it, I swear. :fierce look:

Recovery comes first, Saoirse! I had a slow week, but I've really tried to make sure every day Monday to Friday I get at least a few words down (weekends are a write off at the moment). Mostly that's working.

I've been down with the lurgi the last few days and only managed a few hundred words. I don't hate them, though, so that's nice.

Hello all :hi:
Crazy month.

Saoirse - Glad to see you're on the path to recovery
OSG - Still unstoppable I see, fantastic.
Marissa - See you next month :)

Just a few days left, I hope you're all doing well in your projects. I split my time between a couple of projects during this last week, but overall it's been a more successful month passing the 4k new word mark.

I'm happy to see everyone making progress.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about writing and various projects, so that's a start, right?

I've been cleared to start walking again! A little at a time, and range-of-motion exercises. I can't even tell you how happy this makes me. :)
