OMG! It's excellent! Everyone should watch it. Especially those that haven't read, And the Band Played On. And you should all read that book too.

People need to know how financial decisions over-rode people's lives. Because after all, it's going to happen again. This first hour was well done, informative, trying to show all sides with some objectivity. There is no equivalence here, the facts contradict equivalence.

Maybe this belongs in the Activism forum, but the first of the series was tonight and there is more to come. I haven't looked at how many hours there are in the series.

I'll look when I stop crying.

I'm still crying but here's a link:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7319038/

For those that don't understand my post:
Storyline
The drama chronicles the emergence of HIV and Hepatitis C in Canada in the early '80s and the tragedy that followed when thousands were unnecessarily infected by tainted blood.

Viewer review: "I'm 4 episodes in."

Maybe I missed some of it. I'll keep looking for the schedule.

Here's more:
https://www.cbc.ca/mediacentre/program/unspeakable1

It's on CBC Wed at 9pm. Started Jan 9th

Limited drama series UNSPEAKABLE focused on Canada’s tainted blood scandal, starring Sarah Wayne Callies and Shawn Doyle, debuts Wednesday, January 9 at 9PM

That makes this episode 6. Oh fudge. Maybe some of you saw the first 5 episodes. There are 8 parts.
