that too many men in positions of power don't understand.

According to the articles I've read about this case, the man knew one of the girls was 13 when he began exchanging messages with her online. I don't see how any choice he made after that could be justified, regardless of whether or not the girls "hustled" him. He's a grownup, they aren't. I suppose if he's deep in the throes of dementia or something, that would be a case for clemency (and also a sign he's no longer able to care for himself and those around him and so needs to be in a home), but assuming he's mentally competent, I just don't get this ruling.
