Don't libel and slander suits face a very high burden of proof in the US? As I understand it, an allegation doesn't just have to be untrue; the person making it has to have known it was untrue at the time it was made.

I guess this doesn't stop him from bringing a lawsuit, though.

One thing to consider is if he builds his case on stating that those who accused him of sexual misconduct are liars or crazy, he could be slapped with a countersuit for defaming their characters. This has happened to an alleged sexual assailant who is even more (in?)famous than he is.
