Hello everyone. My name is Antaeus, and this is my first post anywhere.
I've been writing novels and short stories for about four years, and I love letting the creative side of me have free reign.
I've joined Absolute Write to meet likeminded people, share information, and ask questions.
My genres are general fiction, SCI-FI, fantasy, action adventure, and nonfiction (mostly self-protection) novels. I create my own cover art and have self-published my books from day one.
On a recommendation by Authors Publish, I recently send my latest book to Left Handed Publishers for consideration. They wrote back and asked if I had any cover art, which I've sent them. I've not heard from them since I sent the manuscript and artwork.
Has anyone had any experience with Left Handed Publishers?

I'm afraid I've not heard of this company either. Perhaps post in the relevant section, I can't recall what it's called but have a poke around and you'll find it! Best of luck with the writing and congrats on plucking up the courage to self-publish.

Hi Antaeus, always good to have more fantasy and scifi writers here

If you already do your own cover art and self-publishing and are happy with it, then I'm not entirely sure why you are contacting Left Hand Publishers as they mostly do 'assisted publishing' by which I mean, they do covers, formatting, editing etc for people with no idea how to produce a book beyond writing one, or who don't possess those skills in exchange for a cut of the royalties from each sale. They also have a few anthologies of short stories out (disclosure: I have a story in their Realities Perceived anthology) so they are also venturing into small press territory. If you want to go that route check the contract over carefully, but if you are looking to get your books trade/traditionally published and in book shops then you would be better looking for an agent.

Hi Antaeus, good luck with so many projects going. Sounds like you have plenty of skills and experience. Left Handed Publishers sounds very unfamiliar to me but you'll find more information on here as with above, I'm sure.
