Hello Everyone,
I've been writing in a bubble for three years. It's been okay for productivity, but lousy for connecting and networking with other writers. I'm naturally quite introverted and have never actually been a member of any forum ever. But it's getting lonely and suffocating in the bubble and I'm very keen to pop it and step - covered in glistening bubble residue - into this online community.
I'm keen to learn, to contribute, to critique and just to interact with people other than the ones I make up in my head and write about.
In terms of my writing; I've won places in a few short story comps and have a background in writing for theatre and live performance, but my main focus at the moment is a series of YA fantasy/sci-fi novels. I am currently fighting my way through the redrafting of the first one.
