Last Line of the Day - NaNo 2018

Day 3- An animal is witlessly savage, a human take joy in becoming less than they are.

And judging from Manowski’s reaction, I wouldn’t have been surprised to hear if Gary had had more than one Very Special Chat with him on multiple occasions.

Day 1: Learn discipline in taking care of yourself and being able to make wise choices even after having exhausted the mental and physical capacities of your flesh -- spirit over body.

Day 2: Injury and Death: Unknown disease from an unknown source.

I came here too often to be mistaken as a stranger.

Day 1: He was meant to be seventy-two, but let’s face it, why would someone who was seventy-two and born before 1950 even consider going on a reality show?

Day 2: I have no idea who came next because I fell asleep before the next girl’s interview rolled round, and I dreamed about Krystal, Sheree, and Cinda trying to persuade me into a pool of blood.

My last line (first draft stuff) was:

"It's like a line to the foothills," she said with an angry glare. "A fuse can be lain (note to self: check lay/lie usage again) in sections, without raising suspicion."

Except it isn't, because I never signed up for this.

I tried to lick the blood from my hand. Not only was the taste foul and metallic, but also, it aggravated the wound, the sensation of my prodding tongue resembling the tip of a blade.

Other emotions? Powers? There's a lot I don't know.

This was meant to show the insecurity of an older husband who is paranoid that his much younger, pretty wife will cheat on him, and also lives in the shadow of his playboy brother-in-law who is also his boss, but now I'm worried it implies something incestuous going on, lol

The guard’s attention settled back on me. “Shall we continue this in a more private setting?”
