Hi folks!

I'm an Asperger -person from Finland. I'm active & odd -type.

Here no one notices if you are autistic.

Written text is my first love.

I try to be nice to NT:s and not patronise or "interpret" them too much. You can do the same to me.

I already have a progress journal (Aspie's Pipeline) on another board. And I keep personal working log. That is enough.

But my pace seems to be now about 8 000 words a week in Finnish. (It equals about 10 000 - 11 000 words in English.)

No sehän on helppoa hommaa. Meidän tenavatkin turisevat ihan sujuvasti.

Jotkut väittää että kielioppi ja taivutukset olisivat muka jotenkin vaikeita, mutta eihän se voi pitää paikkansa kun nöössitkin osaa niitä ihan pätevästi täällä räntäsateen seassa.

Ja jos oppiminen kerta kiinnostaa, niin kannattaa aloittaa vaikka sanan "koira" yksikkömuodoista. Niistä kun on tullut vähän sellainen kansainvälinen vitsi. Yhtä hyvin siinä vitsissä voisi kyllä olla ihan mikä tahansa muu sana. Kaikki substantiivit nääs taipuu samojen sääntöjen mukaan. (Tai no... kaikki..)

Welcome Aspie!

It's cool you're so disciplined to keep a log of your progress. I barely know when I've done anything significant. Some days its an accomplishment to just look at my manuscript and edit a paragraph.

Don't worry about feeling odd or anything. Just be a writer. That's what we are all here for encouragement and ideas.

I have not thought that keeping log has anything to do with being disciplined.

I don't worry about feeling odd. I am "active & odd" subtype Aspie.
