The "P" Word

Guys,

I just got my first acceptance to a literary journal. First publication ever. And it's all thanks to the wonderful wonderful critiquers on here. You guys rock.

"Publication" was such a far-away goal that I really thought I'd never reach. I don't think I'm properly excited, because I just don't believe it.

And yet, now I feel unstoppable! ::flexes:: Huzzah!

How long was the entire process from conception to completion? How many heachaches? How many frustrating days did you experience that led to doing something to take your mind off of the anguish (if there was any)?

Straight Success: I'm unsure if you're being rhetorical or curious, so I'll provide a quick answer: It took about ten months from first word to publication, but all the frustration in that timeline was worth it
