Quick sfwa question

Question for sfwa types who may happen to see this.


Is it worth applying for membership if you only *just* qualify? And what happens if you don't get any/enough pro sales the following year (have to quit?)

Oh! Right. I was terrified that I'd have to keep on top of story acceptances (something largely out of my control). Okay!

Do you happen to know if the stories have to be published or just sold? Both sold to a qualifying market but only one is pubbed, the other sat in their "story bank" somewhere. I suppose it doesn't matter, as long as they come out close enough together. (I need both wordcounts to qualify). I looked on their site but couldn't work that out.

Yeah... you're in a similar boat. We're scraping in lmao. It's expensive, and not sure if worthwhile at this stage.
