Forgive

There are times
When others did wrong
Laughed at us
When we were not strong

The things they mentioned
Are stuck in our head
Making us mad
From the words they said

There are times
When we were just played
Bleeding deep inside
From the injuries they made

They dont notice
How much we are hurt
How badly they made us
Treated us like dirt

There are times
When we were decieved
Oh, the lie they gave us
And the pain we received

Pain that creates lasting scar
A scar that will never heal
Just because of what they did
Living nightmares became real

But there is no reason
To not forgive
Its what we should always do
And how we should live

No matter what they did
No matter the pain
In fact we should actually thank them
Because no pain, no gain

Forgive them
Even if they're not sorry
Then whatever happened
You wont ever have to worry

Forgiving is for the strong
It's not for the weak
When you dont know what to do
To forgive is the answer you seek

Forgive and forget
Then soon you'll see
Holding a grudge makes you bitter
Forgiving others sets you free
