Hello from Northern Scotland

Hello folks!

I'm delighted to become part of this community. There seems to be so much to explore!
I'm not a published author, but I'm getting my first book published next July. I'm also a book blogger/reviewer, middle grade and young adult books being my favourite, but I'm happy to try new things all the time.
Right now, I'm struggling with redrafting/rewriting parts of my middle grade novel. Oh, the pain!
When I'm not writing, I am a teacher at a local primary school. I live on the north coast of mainland Scotland, and the amazing location seems to always sneak into my stories.

I look forward to e-meeting you all!

My wife and I are fans of BBC's Shetland series. The detectives travel back and forth to the north coast by ferry and turbo-prop aircraft. Scenic views are breathtaking.

Oh, yes! I was at a meeting in John o' Groats a few months ago and some of the members had to leave early to go and see Shetland. That was the first time I'd heard about the programme, to be honest, and I was wondering why this couple were going to the islands that night!!
