Howdy y'all, my name's Jonathan, and I am an aspiring author. I am looking for mentors and friends to talk about writing in all forms, and normal stuff too. It's easier to say I am trying to make friends and learn more about the industry as a whole as I want to work as a writer. I have a draft of a full length high fantasy (I believe) novel that is still going through critiques that I am excited to share with readers. Sharing story's to me has always been important long before I started writing, it's a beautiful thing to lose yourself in someone's story or listen to a friend retell a interesting night. On top of the high fantasy novel I have a trilogy set in a sci-fi universe that has been in concept since I was in middle school, for reference I'm 26 now. All my writing has a romance element that qualifies all I write as romance and its fun but daunting. I am bouncing around all three books constantly so the five month it took me to finish the draft of my first book is not likely, still I love working with the writing day by day.
Writing gives me purpose and I want my storys to give smiles, thoughtful reflections, and enjoyment to its reader. I also don't care what others say about my work, I listen to criticism but the natural backlash to anything someone makes doesn't worry me, at least to much that it bends what I write.
