Hi, folks! I'm TBJ. I've been writing and pursuing publication for years now, but I'm relatively disconnected from writerly community and trying to remedy that by doing things like... starting to post here! An intro post seems a good way to force myself to stop lurking constantly.
A little about me: I have, as I said, been writing fiction for quite a few years now. I've got drafts of novels, novellas, and short stories under my belt, but have only been trying to get short fiction published for a few years (no luck yet). I write primarily fantasy, but delve into other areas of specfic occasionally. I also draw a lot, often art related to my stories and worldbuilding. I'm a freelance illustrator and proofreader by trade but am trying to make fiction writing more a part of my professional life. I'm terminally shy and anxious and prone to migraines (any other migraineurs out there? Would love to discuss the complex matter of migraines and creativity), and I like bees a lot.
