I'm Inksplatter. Not my real name, but since I'm shy and a huge introvert, we'll leave it at that.

I love writing and see it as something of a stress-relief. Whenever emotions are strong, I turn to writing, and it calms me down. I'm still a full-time student, so I don't have much time to focus on writing, but I hope to stick around, contribute to the forums, and make some friends.

I'm currently editing and revising a YA Sci-Fi novel, but I'm taking it slow. I hope to have something ready by June to take part in the next PitMad. We'll see how that goes.

In college and grad school, I kept my hand in creative writing but tried to work them into assignments and projects. However, you're right that the education effort comes first.

Hi, Inksplatter! I, too, am a huge introvert. It took me three days to work up the guts to make my introduction post and I sometimes still have difficulty posting my replies/posts. I've met some very neat people here so I think you've come to the right place. Good luck with your writing!
