Does anyone have any information about this publisher?

The full name of the company is:

[FONT=&quot]THE BOOK FOLKS traditional British murder mystery crime fiction publishers

I came across an author who self-published and was approached by this company.
They are now publishing his books and (somehow) selling thousands on Amazon.
This looks to me like some sort of huge scam, maybe based on a click farm exploiting
Kindle Unlimited.

I tried to take a look at the company's website, but my firewall won't let me near it.
It's coming up as a spam URL.

My emphasis. I'm not sure what they mean by that. It sounds odd to me.

Seeing that the OP hasn't been active since 2019, I doubt you'll be getting an answer. The Bewares threads are forever young, but mostly so people can add new information.
