I've never really done a writing forum before, and I've read some good things about this one!
I'm basically from all over the United States (although live in Illinois currently) and I'm in the my late twenties. I've been working on my manuscript for almost six years now. It's a YA Fantasy novel. I do write other genres but have a hard time finishing any of those other pieces that aren't my novel (you'd think the shorter pieces would be easier to finish than the mammouth one, but that is not the case with me.)
I'm avid reader--and I can't just pick one author/book I love. I do love books by Margaret Atwood and Libbay Bray (whose works inspired me to become a writer.) I've also been really into Victoria Shwab lately or her other pen name V.E. Shwab. I love several genres with my favorite being Magical Fantasy, Young Adult, and Literary Fiction.
When I'm not writing/editing/reading, I try to have some semblance of a social life. I like doing different kinds of arts, playing with my Corgi, watching films, and bake to alleviate stress.
Thanks for having me!
