My son read a mystery novel of hers, and recommended her work to me, so I have started reading her first Inspector Alleyn mystery, published originally in 1934. It's a British cozy, inspired (as she says in a preface) by either Agatha Christie or Dorothy Sayers. It is a puzzle mystery, somewhat in the vein of the board game Clue, but I'm enjoying it as a light read. Other people enjoy her work?
