Forgot to address this. I have a randomly-crashing laptop that's caused horrible data losses in the past. I now work on Google Docs (having sorted out a few bugs with that app that also caused data loss - ugh), so everything is saved to the cloud every few seconds. Every few weeks I copy all those files into a separate folder in case they get corrupted, and I also copy the files to external drive every week.

The great thing about Google Docs is I can read and edit on my phone wherever I am.
