Another searing in Syria
again set insights (red searing eyes,

foaming lips/hosed down devastation
among already mortar-blasted,

pulverized debris amid scattered parts

of human flesh) and flash-melded into


a mirage northeast of Eden,
where making death earns
a good living, then moves on.

This is a fair-dinkum jaw-dropper. Aside from the searing/Syria flesh/flashing neat alliteration and the pointed pun of a title, it's beautiful and horrific. The searing eyes and foaming lips recall Dulce et Decorum Est in all its Brutus-is-an-honorable-man leashed rage. The last sentence is plain and perfect.

. . . that this world requires such poetry. . .I guess a little more love might make it right. And thanks for yours (& the hope for) 1000 x more still needed to be spread more widely, if not more evenly.

As for the content of this one, it's heavy, but you handle it well.
