We can absolutely do that! We won't reveal who voted for what though, just the numbers.
Yay!
We can absolutely do that! We won't reveal who voted for what though, just the numbers.
Twist! Did not see those coming.
*Falls into trace-like state, trying to think of a story idea*
Totes not the ones I expected.

Don't shred it. There's nothing to say you can't writing something for one of the other prompts in addition to the official story.
I still expect to see that accursed meme story! *taps foot*
Aaaaaand we now have enough votes to have a clear winner!
Below are the 3 prompts that got the most votes. You may now begin writing!
Stories are due July 31st (EST). Guessing will begin August 1st.
1. Elves, of the Tolkien variety (so… tall, pretty, wise, immortal) in genres where they don’t belong. Examples: gothic horror, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic. Whatever you want, as long as it’s not high fantasy.
2. In this fantasy word, there’s an old good luck charm: Speak to the moon every night as you’re falling asleep and she will protect you. Out of childlike comfort, your MC has been talking to the moon for years. Nothing more than a familiar habit. But then one night, your MC wakes up to a moonlike-humanoid-goddess standing in the bedroom. She says, "I'm in trouble. I've listened to you every night and out of all my followers, you have the skills to salvage this. Come with me."
3. Start your story with this line: The only two ways of escaping the Kings prison were good behavior and suicide.
