Well now that I have been well and truly outted, I can finally update.

[X] Complete mystery project (100% done) - So I lied my ass off here. This was the Sisyphus Collection, finished to 100% in February. I didn't want people to pick up my "you wrote how many stories?!" scent, so I faked doing half of it instead of all of it

I am completely in awe of this. Looking forward to the collection. :)

Well, not a bad month, overall. No writing accomplished on the WIP at all, but with Sekrit Solstice over, my last editing pass on Book 4 complete and all the pre-production writing for Book 4 in my series finished and off to the publisher, I should be able to focus my attention and my Camp energy on plain ol' writing. REALLY looking forward to Camp this year. I think we have a great Cabin!

I fell short on the weight loss and exercise goals this month, but at least I had SOME progress. I'll have to keep pressing forward next month.

[x] 1. Decide whether to participate in April Camp - DONE. I'm in!
[x] 2. Finish Sekrit Solstice story DONE
[ ] 3. Start fresh on WIP (Book 5 of fantasy series) - 0 of 10,000 words
[x] 4. Write blurb and other pre-publication stuff for Book 4 DONE
[x] 5. Read two books - 4 of 2 DONE
[ ] 6. Exercise (any kind) three times a week; 30 minutes at a time - Wk 1 - 2 of 3; Wk 2 - 1 of 3, Wk 3 - 3 of 3, Wk 4 - 2 of 3
[ ] 7. Lose five pounds - 3 of 5

Speaking of next month, I'll be starting the April thread shortly. Campers and non-Campers alike are welcome to join in, state your goals for the month and get ready to make some April progress!

Final update.

I finished reading the fourth Daine book, Realms of the Gods, and that made six books for the month (four of which were quite short but shhh).

I finished E. quite neatly, and I wrote a couple of flash pieces, plus one for game, and I think they're all worth editing. Technically I'm still doing today's writing (I forgot to do it before going to the football) but I've only 150ish words more to write and I won't go to bed until they're done. Lots of game, but it needed doing, and there was more real writing than game writing. Didn't do a heap of transcription, but I don't view that as necessarily a bad thing since it means I wasn't often falling on it as backup for lazy days.

So overall it looks like a good month... except... M. I didn't do any editing on M. I didn't even start. When it got nearer the end of the month, I felt like it would be a waste. At least that's what I told myself.

So, yes, I don't really know if I feel this is a good month or not with that glaring at me.

1. Read five books. 6/5
2. Continue transcription. Little bit more.
3. Edit/Finish Secret Solstice story. Yes!
3a. Edit/Finish second Secret Solstice story. I'm sure it'll need going over again later, but yes.
4. Finish E. (novel WIP). Yes!
5. Continue game planning. Yes!
6. Edit M. (Book 1) Nope.
7. Min 500 words or 2 pages edited per day (with one dedicated writing day per week). Yes.

Got a late start, but since the 18th I've been writing something every day, even if sometimes it's less than 50 words. I'm feeling hopeful about my latest attempt at starting my portal fantasy project, though I haven't even gotten to the portal yet...

Goal for the remainder of March: [X] Write every day!

Success! I have 2,744 words in my official draft, and 7.5k in "scraps" that didn't work but I'm counting them as words-written because I'm wringing as many words out as I can just for morale-boosting purposes.

I reminded myself twice yesterday to update this thread and still forgot to do it when I was at the computer.

Anyway, not much changed since the last one.

[ ] Give away the give-away pile
[X] Read Dying on Second for the AW Reading Challenge
[X] Read One Hundred Years of Solitude for book club
[-] Write first draft of short story for next Alphabet Anthology
[X] Finish edit on novella
[X] Decide what I'm working on for Camp
[X] Edit every day: Week 9 (March portion)
[X] Edit every day: Week 10
[X] Edit every day: Week 11
[X] Edit every day: Week 12
[X] Edit every day: Week 13

I added a couple of scenes to the short story instead of pulling it together :tongue I think I've got everything covered, though, so if I actually get off my duff to collect it, I should be done soon.
