Hi fellow members!
I’m new and want to say hello. I’m a scientist-turned writer since 2012. Just finished my first novel, ‘Dharma’, a mystery about an Indian American amateur sleuth. I was at the SFO Writers Conference earlier this month and found a few agents through the ‘speed dating’ event. I had tried to get an agent via query letters, and although a few asked for partials, nothing stuck. So, I’m onto my next novel, while continuing to find an agent or use Hybrid publishing for my first novel.
I saw a post about agent Paul Levine. I pitched to him at another conference, and he has asked me to submit the full manuscript. If the person who posted has Concerns about this agent, please let me know. To me, he seemed legitimate, but then again, I’m new to this business.
