Although writing is a great hobby, my full time job is music. I tour in bands, I get hired as a female lead guitarist all the time, and as of 2018 I signed with a placement agency who deals in production music. In order to keep all my projects separate, I made a new band, Black Ramen, for production music. We are a brand new band, having formed in 2018.
Our rep asked us to cover a Katy Perry song for a horror movie trailer. He's pitching us this week. We recorded a male and a female version. My main focus in on classic rock, so I've never considered Katy Perry before, but the paycheck was good, so I said what the heck, let's do it. Just wanted to share it with everyone here.
