Cause you're adding meaning to my life, AW!

Sorry for the cheesy line. Just thought I'd drop in and say hello! My name is Josh. I have worked in the publishing industry in a bunch of different roles, from editor and layout designer to process improvement coordinator and business development manager. I've run a magazine, launched startups, and worked to support hundreds of authors reach their audiences. As a writer, I do horror, steampunk, and fantasy.

I'm here because I love the self-publishing community and the larger writing community as a whole. I want to learn, help, trade ideas, swap stories, and generally get involved in the community! I'm excited to meet all of you!

I am currently working as an intrapreneur within a publishing company, getting ready to launch a suite of tools designed to help self publishers with the process. We have some ideas of tools and resources we would like to offer, but we are more interested in hearing what self published (or self publishing) authors actually want/need, so we have a quick, six-question survey you can take if you're interested in helping us develop the best tools for the indie author. You can find it here.

But that's not the only reason I'm here, so I'll be hopping into conversations as I can, and feel free to message me or talk to me about anything under the sun!

Alright, that's all the rambling I have for now.

Stay groovy!

Will the tool suite be commercial/free, offered by the publishing company?

You found a wonderful community! Lots to learn and participate in.
