Is it just me, or is everyone not only having to input their login details every time we come to the site, but also be told we've arrived at an invalid URL when the login process is complete?

Please follow the steps below. This is related to the server move:

Everyone Should Do These Two Things

Thing One: Clearing Cookies and Cache
  • Make sure you know your Password and Username.
  • Log off
  • Clear Cookies and Cache and History.
  • Completely Quit your Web browser, closing all windows.
  • Log back on to AW.
Make sure that you are using https: in the URL
  • Click the little box that says "Remember me?" on the top right of the AW window if you want to stay logged in.

Thing Two: Editing Bookmarks, Shortcuts or Favorites

With the change from http to https, you should edit your AW bookmarks, favorites and shortcuts (and any other links pointing to AW like your Homepage setting if if AW is your Homepage) to use https:

  • Just add the s after http, changing the URL from http: to https:
  • The old URL will work, eventually, but your Web browser may complain that the site is "insecure." It isn't.

I have done those things and it doesn't "remember" me either. No crisis but, just saying.

The process seemed to take care of it for me. Another thing is to make sure your bookmark or shortcut for your browser (if you use one) for the site is updated for the https address. I was having issues until I deleted it and created a new bookmark. The old address will get you here, but it causes the issues some people are talking about.

It remembers me when I manually enter the "HTTPS" [note the S]. I'll probably have to keep doing that until I've entered it enough that it floats to the top of the suggestions.

DavidBrett! I was thinking of you awhile ago, and your contributions to the Writing for Kid's forum. I dunno if you've been away, or if we've just not run into each other. I hope you're doing well and keeping up the great work.

Try saving a bookmark or favorite that uses the https:

Consider clearing the browser history to get rid of http: from old data.
