The Luddites were skilled-craftsmen, in 19th century England, who were losing income because of the growing abundance of cheap manufactured products.

So they did the only sensible thing a strong-willed and talented man would do: They vandalized factories.

Writers have it really bad because, among other things, so many people never read anything. Indeed, our President never reads anything. (There is one big exception. In one of his divorce suits -- I don't know if he's been in one or several -- the litigation record reveals that Donald kept on his nightstand, next to his bed, one book: Hitler's "Mein Kampf."

So maybe we should blow up the studios and offices of television and radio stations.

This is just a joke, so please don't charge me with promulgating incitements to violence.
