Yes, I'm going to claim partial credit for this.

A few times in the past, I had suggested to World Kitchen via email that they make cookware in the classic squared CorningWare shape from the transparent amber Visions material, most recently as a CorningWare 60th Anniversary offering. They did and they're selling it in the UK and Asia under the inexplicable name Visions Reverse, but I think they should have called it, as I had suggested:

Just a thought.

Insight is definitely a better name.

Visions Reverse is just kind of goofy and hard to remember (Revisions Inverse? Versions Immerse?) I bet they just didn't want to give you credit and pay royalties! :)

What's reversed about it? Yours is a better name, but it's probably tm'ed on something cookware or kitchen-related?

I love Visions cookware -- one of the best saucepans I ever had was a big Visions deal. It's the heft of the stuff. I'm a little torn on a square baking thing though, I see pros and cons.

I like the original corning ware, personally; porcelain with the blue cornflower.
