How many scripts have you written? Any major contest wins or top placements?
If you have a referral, why not take it? Send a query. It's not easy to get a cold read from a manager these days so you're already one step down the road.
I only wrote one so far, and it was several years ago. Nothing really became of it, and I sort of forgot about it for a while. But the idea to try again comes into my mind sometimes. So, when I'm ready, I'll make another attempt. Thanks for the advice.
