I'm Larry, new to AW, but not new to writing. Currently I am an indie crime fiction writer and publisher. I started writing as a hobby about 10 years ago. The first book I wrote was non-fiction. A little over three years ago I decided to try my hand at writing crime fiction novels. Partly that was because it is one of my favorite genres to read. Also, as a retired police officer it's something I know a thing or two about. While crime fiction thrillers and mysteries are what I read the most, my tastes as a reader are quite eclectic. I learned to love books as a child and was always one to read whatever I got my hands on. Also, since I've become acquainted with many other indie authors over the years, I've learned to appreciate a wide-range of genres reading books written by my friends. Hope to get acquainted with many of you good folks here at AW. I enjoy hearing about the writing projects and experiences of other authors. Always happy to help other writers too where I'm able.
