greetings from long beach, california

hello there. i have been a writer all my life, it's just that no one else knew it until recently when i began to actively embrace "the writing life." i am getting a late start and am now well beyond the halfway point of my life. i figured that i needed to get these ideas, emotions and stories that i have been thinking about for decades on to paper before i forget them and can no longer find the words to express them. i live in long beach california and have been exploring the poetry scene locally during the past year as a way to get involved in the literary community here in lbc. there is a lot going on here and i have found a very supportive community in these fine and talented folks.

i write poetry, flash, non-fiction, fiction, etc. i have just a few things published, and am working on getting more out there into the world. i look forward to "meeting" all of you on the interwebbies.
