Looks like another year, so far.

I skipped the fireworks on TV; the local display hasn't changed significantly in years, and I can catch a replay if I'm so inclined. Besides, our neighbors set off more big boomers than the Fourth of July.

It was the same here wrt the neighbors' booms and flashes. They finally stopped at about 2:00 a.m. After they quit our terrified dogs remained on high alert and were clingy and unsettled until about 5:00 a.m. Knowing this neighborhood, tonight will be pretty much a repeat, but with the fireworks beginning at sunset.
