The name of this sub-forum makes it seem the most apt place for my question. If it isn't, by all means move the post to somewhere more fitting.
I've worked hard on my debut novel, and it's almost ready to be put out there. While I'm waiting for a few things to be sorted, I've been considering formats and other language editions. Aside from hoping that the book does well upon and after release and gains momentum, giving me the options of turning it into an audiobook and a couple of foreign language ebook/paperback editions, I've been wondering about reaching out to graphic novel / comic book publishers to see if they'd be interested in adapting it.
The problem is, I've scoured Google and I haven't landed on a single useful or pertinent article about self-published authors getting their books turned into graphic novels or comics. I have no clue where to start. Do any of you fine folk have any experience in this?
