Die Hard is one of my favorite Christmas movies. The other is RED.

For years the housemate & I had The Hunt For Red October on our list, because the book is set around Christmas time. Turns out there's not actually a shred of tinsel in the movie, but we kept mentally adding it in!

Day of the Beast. Alex de la Iglesia's cult classic about a priest, a metalhead, and a TV psychic trying to stop the Antichrist to be born on Christmas Day in Barcelona.

Friday After Next, which is funny but nothing special, and Tangerine, which is an absolute masterpiece.

During the 1990's there was a habit of showing one of the star wars movies on Christmas Eve. I have no idea why.

And now it seems we'll get one annually at this time of year.
