Nontoxic November - 500 words per day editing/writing - all genres

2,459 today. I keep refining the plot, which is good, but the more I refine the more of what I've already done becomes stale. My revision is going to be a rewrite, I think!

Small number today - 892. But I had lots of Thoughts! Which is almost the same, right?

Lots of Thanksgiving words - 2,405.

I should have no trouble hitting 60K for November, but I'm still hoping for 70K.

Good luck with the freelance job, Saoirse - and congratulations on the shopping. I have done almost nothing for the holidays.

Another 2,555 today. I wrote the end, and now I'm working on a couple of interim scenes. I have a sense that the one I'm working on now will be refined right out of the book, but for the moment it's keeping me on track with the plot.

Wrote another 2,455 today. Kind of a dark scene. Still feeling it out, but it'll do for a rough draft.

Added another 2,384 today for 68,613 NaNo words.

I'm going to stop at 70K and do some outlining, I think. I should hit that tomorrow. YAY!

So I added 1,993 today, and broke 70K for November!

Now, to winnow the actual plot out of all this...

I didn't work on the WIP at all. I did, however, churn out a 3,071 word short story. Needs a lot of work, but it may be a real thing at some point.
