So, I have planned the characters for my story (their appearances, personalities, etc.) and started writing the novel, but lately, I feel as if my characters have started writing themselves, and develop themselves along the way. I have to say, I really like their "own" developments so far (their changes are more realistic and more enjoying to read about than what I had originally planned), but would you guys say this is a bad sign? Bad writing?
