New to the forum and relatively new to writing too! Been writing short stories for a while and really into exploring and delving into the horror genre a bit more.

Anyway, here to pick up advice and also weigh in on other discussions. Hope to contribute to this great community - long time lurker here!

All the best,

Jay

Hello and welcome! I am new too :). I am currently reading Stephen Kings book "on Writing." It's great and it made me think of him when you mentioned a horror genre.

. . . long time lurker here!

Hey, Jay. I lurk more than post, as well.

I also like horror. Long ago and far away, I once wrote and published for grad school an anthology of twelve sci-fi and horror shorts. I'm working in mystery novels at present, but miss the horror writing a great deal.

:welcome:!

Hey there Mr. Ted!

I know someone mentioned Stephen King up there. I was a huge Stephen King fan for years. I heard his Dark Tower series was really good, and they recently made it into a movie. Have you by any chance read it? Or has anyone on here? I am curious about it, and I am thinking of borrowing it at my local library. (Yes I have a library card and I still go to the library thank you very much!)

But welcome again, as a fellow newbie, I am really liking what I am seeing so far on this site.
