Announcing the 2017 ANNUAL TOBIAS LITERARY AGENCY RETREAT

    Hi All,

Lane Heymont from The Tobias Literary Agency here (previously of Seymour). I wanted to extend an invitation to everyone to join us in Beverly Hills this November 1st - 5th at the Beverly Hilton hotel (of Academy Awards fame) in sunny California.

We'll be hosting workshops and panels on marketing and publicity advice to how to craft villains, write for a diverse readership, turning your book into a screenplay, and hosting an intensive Law Enforcement Masterclass. Participate in exciting and heart-pounding hands on education to enhance understanding of all aspects of law enforcement from a former sex crimes cop. Discover how to: subdue a suspect, hunt serial killers, interviews witnesses, and more!

Of course you will have the opportunity to network with and pitch Big 5 NYC editors and Hollywood producers and agents at no extra cost. I will also be taking pitches, and some local agents will pop in to take pitches as well!

Let me stress there is NO conference fee, and NO fee to pitch editors or producers. Simply reserve your room at the Beverly Hilton at our discounted rate ($259 per night) by clicking HERE and then click on the 'Make Reservation' button. That's it! The hotel will automatically tell us you have registered.

We are adding more guests as we speak, but some include:

    - Deb Werksman at Sourcebooks
    - Julia Drake at WildBound PR
    - Scott Stoops at Good Fear Film and Management
    - Diana Pho at Tor
    - Berni Barta, book-to-film department at ICM
    - Pier Nirandara, Media Rights Coordinator at ICM
    - Jennifer Dornbush, screenwriter and forensic specialist
    - Zachary Green at Zgreen Entertainment
    - Secret producers from Sony, Warner Bros., and Blumhouse.

The official cut-off date to register is October 4th. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at info @ thetobiasagency.com.
