*crashes in through ceiling* What up, my nerds! I'm going to Mensa's yearly summer camp a bit later today. It's gotten great reviews. It's very possible I will find this tabletop gaming group I've heard much of and join them. It's also supposed to be a very nice place regarding going for walks, so I'll do that.
In other news, my union apparently just got a new deal with the government which seems pretty good, but one point they mentioned was that they thought this female dominated field (and others like it) didn't have pay competitive with similar male dominated fields, and that's getting kicked up to the courts.

Your GF is wrong in all the ways one can possibly be wrong. Video game music is some of the best music out there!I get into endless arguments with my GF about this. Her take is that video game music is *not* music and should not be listened to under any circumstances. My take is that it's frequently pretty or atmospheric and the lack of lyrics is nice, plus her position is bizarre and indefensible. Love is a battlefield.
Or, looking at your avvie, Okami has an A+ soundtrack. Okami is an A+ game and I can't wait to get it on my Switch and play it again-again. And the Legend of Zelda series also has some amazing soundtracks, Deku Palace from Majora's Mask is an earworm that'll last centuries.Let her listen to the soundtrack for Nier: Automata, and don't tell her it's from a game. That is an AMAZING soundtrack, and does some absolutely beautiful things with choral singing, orchestral accompaniments and fake languages.
