Does anyone here use Netgalley? Is your book listed there whether you listed it yourself, or your publisher did? If so, how is the process going for you?
I was on NetGalley before with my last book and it went fairly well. I think out of all my requests, 10% of that I received reviews. I know there's a trick to requesting books too, like sometimes you don't get approved if you don't have enough reviews under your belt, correct?
For those of you that have books listed on Netgalley, (besides social media) what other ways do you promote your books on NetGalley? I know the site offers ways to promote, but you have to pay for it. I like the Spotlight ad, but it doesn't guarantee you getting that spot. Has anyone here tried it?
