How often do you check your rep points? Do you wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat wondering what people have said about you? Do you give a big "WOO HOO" whenever you get more points?

If so, this is the club for you...sporting its own clubhouse and comfy chairs. Come on in!! :D

I wish it were freezing here. >.>

I love drinking hot coco when it's snowing outside. :3

Ah, yes, Utah would get a fair amount of snow. :D I am originally from Canada. I don't miss snow at all.

I enjoy snow when travelling, because it's a novelty (it doesn't snow in Melbourne). It's like fancy rain! :D

So, I had large couscous with dinner (big balls*, rather than little specks), and now it's expanding in my stomach. Like, ridiculously. Oops. Better keep that in mind next time I make/eat it. Small portion only, BF.

*Insert dirty-mind comment here in Lil's absence.

You don't miss snow? It's so great! (outside, at least, where I can look at it but not get caught in it)

See? There's the spirit! It's so pretty to look at. :3
(But not touch or walk around in. I hate getting soaking wet from doing nothing - and having my nose and fingers go numb. >.>)

Nope. Had enough of snow to last a lifetime. I don't mind looking at pictures of it, but that's about it.

Yeah, I suspect if I had to live with it and shovel my driveway or whatever, the novelty would wear off pretty quickly. But I still remember the first time I awoke to a world turned fully white (in Sapporo). It was a very cool experience. Also, literally.

Yeah. It tends to lose its charm when you have to spend twenty minutes cleaning off your car before you can go to work. *g*

Plus, you haven't really lived until you've done a 360 degree spin-out on an 8 lane highway. *g* (yeah, I did that. Fortunately it was late at night so there was no danger of hitting anyone else.)

Not on the 401 between Oshawa and Toronto. 8 lanes and no trees in sight.

In that case, you probably couldn't hope for a luckier time and place to do your 360 spin-out. Lucky kookaburra is lucky.

Yep. If you gotta do a 360, that was definitely the time and place to do it.

So, yeah, I don't miss snow at all. *g*

I have seen that one before. *g* Hills are not good when it's snowy. *g* Particularly when the salt trucks haven't been around.

I wish it snowed and that we got real cold here (not 10 deg. C pretend cold). I was a little kid in Boston, and I still miss snowmen and sledding and all that, though I barely even remember it. Australian childhoods just aren't as ... magical?

I also prefer rain to sunshine, though, so maybe I'm just weird for precipitation.

Snow is great fun when you're a kid. Particularly on the rare occasion when you get a snow day from school. It's not quite so much fun as an adult.

Yep, I have to say it, you're weird for preferring rain to sunshine, Alby. *g*

Move to Canberra. Or Thredbo. :D

I'm pretty sure heaps of beach-loving kids would disagree. I hate sand, so I'm not one to comment, though. (Also, Boston is lovely).

So do I . Mr. BF thinks I'm insane.

He may be right, just not necessarily about the rain thing.

If I had my way, it would only rain at night - between midnight and 4am. *g*

Only raining at night sounds good - that's what it does in Hawaii a lot of the time. Bastids. Ugh, suppose I ought to get ready for my appointment instead of noodling around here.

Aren't we due for a new thread right about now? lol

Yep, we're sort of overdue. I'm sure one of the mods will realize sooner or later. :D
