they said the last tweet was him in a photo in front of the venue, very very happy and excited for the show. reports from the show say he played on point and was really really good. i guess we'll have to wait for more details to find out what really happened....
Cornell was a very good singer, and I liked a lot of his songs.

Bumping this for just desserts.

I'm a big stoner fan, and for my money Badmotorfinger blows away the likes of Kyuss, Monster Magnet, and even my own namesake band Melvins--even though BadMF is generally considered grunge, not stoner. Great band RIP

I haven't been moved by many celebrity and/or musical deaths, if there's such a distinction. But the loss of CC hit me hard.
I ponder it often and hope his family is healing. Such a loss.

Chris Cornell's music helped in part to get me through high school - discovering Soundgarden was a life changer for me for sure. Still so sad about Chris's passing.
